Case Studies: Replacing All the Lower Teeth - A Removable Prosthesis

Five implants are seen peeking through the tissue. One implant is strong enough to support 2 to 3 teeth in this type of prosthesis.   A connecting bar is seen sitting on top of five implants. Note the "trailer hitch balls" sitting on top of the bar. The underside of the prosthesis snaps over the balls.

Underside of the prosthesis. "O-rings" secure this prosthesis to the connecting bar. The result is a non-slip, secure prosthesis that is removed twice daily for cleaning.
